Recently, an island in Japan became known to the world, for many cats live on the island. There are less than 100 hundred people there,named Aoshima Island. The number of cats is 6 times as many as that of people. Many people are shocked about this, because it is very amazing that so many cats live with few people. It's unbelievable!
This island is located in northeast Japan, occupying about 2.7 square kilometers. People in this island love cats very much, if you can come to the island, you will find cats walk and play like no people around them.

This island has many shrines for cats and people respect them as gods. Therefore people also abandoned  gradually the previous name of this island and call it cat island. Moreover,the buildings there are mostly designed in cat shape out of love for cats. Very lovely, isn't it?

I also hope that such kind of places appear in China and more and more cats have a better life. Many newspapers has reported that people abuse cats not only in China but in western countries. Without question, we shouldn't abuse cats. That's not enough. We should do our best to create a good environment for them and realize true harmony between people and animals.
